Our sustainable farm is set on seven acres in the beautiful Applegate Valley and Siskiyou Mountains. We raise goats, pigs and ducks holistically with love. They roam through our silvopasture, orchard food forest and our neighbor’s 40 acres of hillside and forest. We are proud to be a woman run farm and our focus is regenerative polyculture farming.
Our pork is raised on pasture and fed primarily whey, veggies, fruit and acorns. They get occasional organic grain feed. They are slow growing heritage pigs They are raised for a year, not 6 months like commercial pigs. This slow process and low grain diet makes their meat a beautiful deep red and the fat is flavorful and velvety.
Our meat goats are raised on pasture and forest forage. Goat meat is extremely healthy, nutrient dense and is delicious, like elk or antelope.
We raise pastured chickens during the warmer months. Our birds are true “free range”, we do not keep them in a movable cage during the day (chicken tractor), they are free to roam our pasture and feast on greens, bugs, fruit and sprouted Organic feeds.
Our ducks are our “farm humor” they roam free on the farm and are a joy to watch. They eat just like our chickens and produce amazing eggs.
All our products are available on the website and the Ashland Growers Market and many are retailed on Rogue Produces website and at Whistling Duck Farm or Medford Food Coop.
